About the Role:
ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, in-home care and support. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands and transportation
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a home care aide, caregiver, CNA, or in a related caregiving role preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-first attitude
- Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
