About the Role:
Join our compassionate team at ComForCare Home Health Care in Maryville as a Personal Care Aide (PCA). In this rewarding position, you will provide essential support to individuals in need, enhancing their quality of life with your care and dedication.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document and report changes in clients' conditions to the healthcare team.
- Support clients in mobility and physical activities.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a PCA or in a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
- Must be reliable, compassionate, and patient.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
