About the Role:
Join our compassionate team at ComForCare Home Health Care in Towson, MD, where we provide exceptional care to our clients. We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA), and Home Health Aides (HHA) with flexible schedules to support our mission of enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Remind / Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Help with mobility and transportation to appointments or activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document client progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a CNA, GNA, or HHA in Maryland.
- Previous experience in home health care or a similar setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Reliable transportation to travel between client homes.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
