We’re seeking a reliable and experienced PCA, CNA, HHA, or Caregiver to assist a valued client in Ashland, Virginia, who requires total care support, including Hoyer lift transfers. The client lives in a pet-friendly home with two dogs and three cats, so animal lovers are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide total assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and feeding
- Safely assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift
- Support client mobility and repositioning throughout the day
- Help with meal planning, prep, and feeding
- Offer friendly companionship and emotional support
- Maintain a safe and organized care space
- Be comfortable in a home with pets (2 dogs, 3 cats)
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Current CNA, PCA, or HHA certification
- Proven experience with Hoyer lift and total assist care
- CPR/BLS certification
- Prior experience working in home care or skilled nursing preferred
- Comfortable around pets and able to assist in a multi-animal home
- Access to reliable transportation within Ashland or surrounding areas
- Willingness to complete enhanced training
