Job Description:
Are you passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on their lives? We are seeking a reliable caregiver to join our compassionate team in Coldwater. As a caregiver, you will provide essential in-home care and companionship to individuals who need assistance with their daily routines.
This role offers an opportunity to work one-on-one with clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while they remain in the comfort of their own home.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship to help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and feeding
- Remind clients to take medications on schedule
- Help with mobility and transfers to ensure clients' safety
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands (if needed)
- Monitor clients’ overall well-being and report any changes to the supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to providing high-quality care
- Must pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for certain shifts)
- Ability to assist with mobility and perform light physical tasks as needed
