ComForCare Home Care is Hiring an Experienced On-Call Caregiver
We are seeking a reliable and experienced caregiver for an On-Call, Short Shift position. As a stand-by caregiver, you will be ready to step in and provide care to clients when needed. You will be given a designated time frame in which you must be available to fill shifts, offering flexibility and support across various care environments.

- On-Call Pay Bonus Pay: $25 per shift for being on call (not an hourly rate) plus regular hourly rate if called into work

Duties:
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Help with medication reminders and administering prescribed medications.
- Mobility Assistance: Aid with walking, transferring between bed and chair, and using mobility aids.
- Meal Preparation: Plan, cook, and serve nutritious meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
- Housekeeping: Perform light cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in recreational activities.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in health conditions, including vital signs if required.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of care activities, including medication administration and changes in health status.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 year caregiving (required)
- Must be willing to work in Montgomery County South East (Please only apply if you are willing and flexible to work in that location)
- Transportation: Own vehicle (not from someone else) or reliable transport (required)
- Health Tests: 2-step PPD (last 12 months) or chest X-ray (last 2 years) or QuantiFERON Gold Test
