ComForCare Central KC is a new office of an established leader in the home care space. For nearly 30 years ComForCare has helped people age in place and live their best lives possible. Our care givers meet our clients where they are in their aging journey. This role is essential to the establishment of our franchise and will work closely with the owner to establish best practices and set the foundation of our operation.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least one year of experience as an employee of a home health agency or in a related health care service.
Have one of the following:
- A baccalaureate degree (Nursing degree a plus!).
- An associate's degree; or
- A certificate from a home health administrator course approved by the Kansas regulatory body.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Must be comfortable working with technology and open and excited to learn new tools.
- Experience in business operational management
- The administrator shall reside within the service area which extends through the central Kansas City metropolitan area.
This is a part time position but can grow and expand as the operation grows if that is the desire of the associate. The initial work will be several hours, 5 days a week. Work can be split between coming to the office and working from home but at least 50% office presence is required.
The ideal candidate could be stepping back from full time work but still wants to be engaged and wants to have an impact on the community and the operation. If you need to care for your baby, no worries, bring him/her to the office.
Experience in personnel recruitment a plus!
Familiarity with regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level a plus.
