Urgent In-Home Caregiver Needed
Location: Dowagiac, MI
We are urgently seeking a compassionate and reliable In-Home Caregiver to assist a client in Dowagiac, MI. This role does not require the use of specialized equipment. If you have a heart for helping others and are comfortable working with pets, this is a great opportunity for you!
Key Details:
- Location: Dowagiac, MI
- Schedule: Flexible evening shifts and availability on alternating weekends required
- Pets: Must be comfortable working in a home with pets
- No specialized equipment required for the role
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility (without the need for specialized equipment)
- Prepare meals and help with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
- Administer medication reminders
- Assist with transportation to appointments or errands as needed
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Must be okay with pets in the home
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and alternating weekends
- Reliable transportation
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Able to pass a background check
